Let’s be clear: No one should be threatened, harassed, or belittled for supporting a candidate or asking questions about their tax payer funded city leaderships decisions. That’s not leadership — that’s despotism. When elected and appointed officials stalk residents, threaten businesses, or belittle residents based on where they were born, that’s not politics. That’s abuse.

If your platform requires lies, fear, or intimidation, it’s not a platform. It’s a warning sign.

Margaret taxpayers don’t fund the city so you can weaponize it against them.

And when you get caught — on video, in emails, or in behavior — don’t cry foul. Playing the victim while clinging to power only proves the point: you’re not fooling anyone.

The truth is this: we’re not “Old Margaret” or “New Margaret.”  We Are All Margaret. And if you’re judging someone’s voice or vote based on where they were born, that’s prejudice — and it not acceptable.

We’ve seen you stalking candidates’ homes. We’re not blind, and we’re not afraid. You may try to scare people into silence, but Margaret is wide awake now. And we’re done being quiet.

In Margaret, we deserve leaders who bring plans — not rumors. Who build bridges — not smear campaigns. Who can stand on their work without tearing others down.

Some folks project so loudly that they clearly don’t see the plank in their own eye. But here’s the truth: this city is watching, and the days of silence, favoritism, and bullying are coming to an end.

Margaret will have better. I’m running to prove it.
