Let’s clear this up.

I respect voters enough to be honest: Daryl McIntyre and I are not the same candidate – not in background, not in vision, and not in results.

Matt Tortorice:

• First term council member – already completed 86 hours of ALM CMO training (Basic & Advanced Certification) and Leadership St. Clair.
• Fought for and won Civil Rights & First Amendment Rights cases for residents – Daryl made the motion to censor them.
• Delivered $480,000 in grant funding & matches for city projects.
• Forced a developer to repair Lakeside Drive at their expense, saving taxpayer dollars.
• Conducted all research on the city’s purchase of the sewer treatment plant, proving the ROI and long-term benefits of acquiring it from Moody.
• Built relationships with county, state, and federal partners to bring resources to Margaret.

Daryl McIntyre:
• On council since 2001 – never campaigned for his seat, just appointed.
• No record of a CMO certificate completed in 24 years.
• Was on the Council when Mayor Howard said over $400,000 was misappropriated.
• As Chair, censored public comment for over 6 months and removed residents repeatedly for asking questions.
• Refused to share financial information with sitting council members.
• Hasn’t delivered a comprehensive budget, infrastructure plan, or growth strategy.

I don’t yell. I don’t play games. I show up. Loud? No. Transparent? Yes.

If our platforms were the same, the work would already be done. I have been pushing my platform from day one. But after 24 years, what’s been accomplished? Not much – unless you count blocking progress and misappropriating over $400,000.

This race isn’t about volume. It’s about vision – and making sure you can see it.
